Thirty Seconds to Mars is an american rock band which has is own particular sound and atmosphere.
Today, Jared Leto, Shannon Leto and Tomo Milicevic are the 3 official musicians in the band which was formed in the late 90s.*
In 2001, the song Welcome to the Universe doesn’t leave Immortal records cold. The band signs with the records company and tours for a few weeks with Puddle of Mudd.
In June 2002, 30 seconds to Mars performs for the first time in Europe with a show in London. Then, they tours with Incubus in July and go on till Fall.
First album co-produced with Bob Ezrin, self-titled, was released in 2002.
A Beautiful Lie was recorded in 2005.
Their third album This is War was released in December 2009.

Thirty Seconds to Mars est un groupe de rock américain aux sonorités et atmosphères qui lui sont propres.
A ce jour, le groupe est  officiellement composé de 3 musiciens :
Jared Leto,  Shannon Leto, Tomo Milicevic.
Le groupe s’est formé fin des années 90 et s’est fait connaitre en tournant dans des bars.
En 2001, la démo Welcome to the Universe ne laissera pas indifférent et Immortal records ne tardera pas à s’interésser au groupe. Il sera ensuite invité à tourner quelques semaines avec Puddle of Mudd.
Un premier concert européen aura lieu à Londres en juin 2002, ils se verront faire la première partie d’Incubus en juillet et tourneront avec eux jusque l’automne.
Le groupe sortira en 2002 son première album simplement intitulé 30 seconds to mars co-produit avec Bob Ezrin.
En 2005, ils enregistrent A Beautiful Lie.
Leur troisième album est sorti en décembre 2009.
