Mithra – The Phoenix Seal
Mithra: In the ancien Iranian Pantheon, this is the God of honoring contracts, justice, friendship, light and order kept in the universe. It is related to Mitra, the Indian God.

Four arrows / Quatre flèches: The archery Jana, the four quarters are pierced with a single arrow transforming the square into the circle, symbol of spirit. For the Cheyennes, the sacred arrows, two for hunting and two for war. /Le tir à l’arc de Jana, les quatre directions sont percées d’une flèche unique et transforme le carré en cercle, symbole de l’esprit. When it come to symbolism, and creating a “universe”, people tend to have prejudices and there come all those “well-minded” people combining these automatically with devils, worshipping and so on.
Last week, we all met for a projection by night. The second we started to cast the Triad and Phoenix, knowing an absolutely anything about it, people were just commenting it must be a sect…
Good for us! it arouse curiosity and we could explain them it actually was all about supporting a creative rock band we like, fun and good time… The positive thing about it is that it makes us talk about the band and gives us more opportunity to promote!
Regarding Freemasonry, the triangle being representative of the alchemist elements in that community, it could have been a possibility of inspiration for the guys but I can’t remember where and when, the band actually mentioned Plato’s air.
Of course, the platonic solid octahedron doesn’t look quite like the standard alchemist one. Maybe a combination of philosophy and aesthetic…

let me start of by saying magic isn’t what you think it is, the esoteric arts are duallity in nature and can be used for good and bad purposes, who knows what side of duallity the band lands on , but i really hope th elight or poasitve side, i do enjoy there music maybe the could inspire the kings and queens to come out of all of us im not a christian by anymeans but i love this quote”So God created man in his own image” get it kings and queen’s lol

Im Muslim and I shouldnt be really listening to rock music or any type of music, and I guess 30s2mars are my soft spot. and every other … rock and indie band out there
Im glas you sorted this out, because even though I love these guys SO MUCH IT HURTS, theres always been a side of me thats thought the symbols meant something else, and I never googled it or searched for links with the illuminati for this band, because I was too scared to find otu because I would be so dissapointed their work is life changing and inspiring.

saba-star… I´m glad you put it out that way. I´m also Muslim and it was my biggest fear. Some people said that they found out sth about their connections with Illuminati or sth like that and that they stopped to listen their music, but I guess they stopped as soon as they heared rumours, but I had to search for more info… and I guess we are allowed to listen to their music 😀

It is amazing that people say symbols only mean one thing. For example, did you know that the swastika is a meaning of power and if you look carefully you will see that the swastika is on the chest of the Buddha which predates the existence of the German country. It has been corrupted just like most symbols that are used today. For example the “Christian” fish predates Christianity and is pagan in origin. Vertical it’s the symbol of female genitalia, and horizontal it is the symbol for the male genitalia. Another example is easter. It is pagan and predates Christianity and was the celebration of fertility. The rabbit represents male fertility as the egg represents female fertility. Just because a symbol has a meaning for some because it’s been corrupted don’t let it sway you on what you believe. The ancient gods of the gentiles have been classified today as demons because of Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. That doesn’t mean that an individual who worships the gods of there ancestors is worshiping demons just because modern (2000 year old or newer) religions say they are. I find it hard to believe in a god that cares more about you going to church and what you’re eating than he does about starving children in Africa and children being molested by family and priests. Do not be lead and brainwashed from society or ANY religion that believes they are the only way. Think for yourself.

As a quick reply…for the record, symbols very rarely mean such things as a group of individuals, band, etc. Symbolism results through archetypal structures that call out to psychological underpinnings and often are collected by and/or through esoteric patterns and work. For instance, the American Flag, though being considered the symbol of America, represents something far deeper than just America. If we actually listened to the symbolism represented by the American flag, and promoted its ideals, this world would be a far kinder place, I believe.
As for the Triangle with the line through it…it is irrefutable that it represents the symbol of Air. This symbol can be traced back to the Ancient Vedic Traditions of India and it is the symbol of “the spirit of Life” as it is the breath of “all-things”. Moving out beyond this origin, it means to inspiration and unity. For those discussing this matter who have a Judeo-Christian religion, or even Muslim, the symbol represents mankind.
As a last note, ultimately a symbol can be interpreted through bias. Bias is the collected notion of what something is based on your gathered impressions over the course of your lifetime. Symbols have no personality, and as such cannot be judged as though they are either bad or good, positive or negative. Symbols, again, are simply the human mind attempting to manage the infinite universe through archaic structures. Many associate the pentagram as evil, though it is well known throughout archaeological and historical departments as a symbol of protection, creativity, etc. Even the inverted pentagram, and its strong association with Satanism – and thus “evil” – is ignorant flabbergast, specifically Heinrich Aggripa. The symbol originally was the symbol of a Sumerian word for “corner, angle”, etc. However, as the pentagram non-inverted does have its associations with that which is “right” in the world, there can be an understood notion that the pentagram inverted means that which is “wrong”. However, both symbols only manifest relative associations with balance.
All this said, while the Freemasons, alchemists, and occultists alike may use any of the above mentioned symbols or symbolism, the work they produce through such usage is only manifested ultimately by the intention.
I would say, knowing the attitude of the band members of 30STM and the messages in their music, that while “darker” undertones manifest their ultimate purpose is for the benefit of humankind through unity. I can only speculate, but I imagine that their “dark” undertones are only the band members being honest with themselves and their listeners about their true feelings, and that these feelings are merely questions that they have had the balls to ask. Each of us must face our own demons, and our own “darkness”…

First, let me say that triad dosnt mean air it means 1.A group or set of three connected people or things 2.A chord of three musical notes, consisting of a given note with the third and fifth above it

Well, I’d like to know when the guys said that. If you have any link to interviews, I’d like to see them.
Because, the band have confirmed several times that the triad / triangle is for them a representation of the air.
One exemple: quote the band themselves in the purgatory section of the official board

Of course there are more than one meaning. But in alchemy the triangle pointing upward represents fire, and if you add a horizontal line, it represents the Air .
